Petersham Nurseries
After months of drooling over the menu online, i finally found a fitting occasion to visit Pertersham Nurseries...the man's b'day = yummy meal for me as well! I immediately fell in love with the place, with its eclectic look of old English colonial meets country cottage. Then there was the food...simple, fresh and incredibly delicious, whilst incorporating all the wonderful produce growing on the grounds. The refined yet relaxed feel of the restaurant was pretty cool too. It's not often that a Michelin star and welly wearing diners collide, but it seems to work really well here! After a long, lazy, wine fuelled lunch, a walk around the nursery was much needed and resulted in me falling in lust with pretty much everything in their gorgeous shop. Oh, and just so you know, there is a lovely meadow nearby, perfect for a drunken afternoon snooze!

time for a brew...
I could hear these guys long before i could actually see them...it sounded like they were having a real laugh. They couldn't quite understand why some random girl wanted to take their photo, (but were happy to pose anyhow) - i just got so caught up in how happy they looked. They were really friendly, although i had to turn down the offer of a naked version of this photo...i was in a rush after all!

time for tea...
I'm loving these cute little tea tins. I spotted them during a late night raid of Budgens off Piccadilly Circus and had to bulk buy!
